Storybook Wedding Consulting was first established by Lisa Crowder in 1998 as a full service wedding planning company. Today, the business is one of the most respected event planning companies in Atlanta. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence and willingness to “go the extra mile”, Storybook Wedding Consulting helped raise the standard for what it is to be event planners. Our planners’ calm demeanor, discretion, and ability to interpret their client’s vision then parlay that into a dream wedding, has made them one of the most sought after in the Atlanta area. The inspiration, creativity and event management skills of our planners have resulted in planning all of the events surrounding the wedding day.
In summer of 2006, due to her husband’s upward career move, Lisa Crowder and her family were transferred to Charlotte, North Carolina. With a saddened heart, Lisa finished out her remaining weddings and moved from the Atlanta area leaving behind many wonderful friends. Lisa looks forward to sharing her talent in the Charlotte area.
In late 2003, Jennifer Stewart Lackey joined the Storybook Wedding Consulting team. Her genuine love of the business, desire and ability to create the client’s vision shined through immediately. Jennifer has succeeded with her organizational, team leading and problem solving skills. She is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and earned the distinguished title of Accredited Bridal Consultant™ in 2006. Jennifer is currently one of 28 in the entire world. She is also affiliated with the National Association of Catering Executives. In 2007, Jennifer Stewart Lackey proudly assumed the title and roll of Owner and President of Storybook Wedding Consulting.
